Following the Lord’s leading, Pastor Simmons and his wife founded Shekinah Glory Tabernacle in September 2005. Ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in 2006, he helped the church grow rapidly, moving into a permanent 8,000 sq. ft. location within three months. On January 1, 2014, after eight years of ministry, the church was renamed Truth Church in obedience to God’s direction. Pastor Simmons continues to lead with a heart to serve, boldly preaching the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ and reaching the community through shelter and prison ministry. His passion remains the same—to see souls saved and lives transformed by the power of God.
